This is particle board and veneers, not solid wood. It looks nice and is heavy, but I prefer solid wood to mdf and veneers. Drawers slide in and out easily.

Takes about 1-2 hours to put together. Particle board and not solid wood. It looks very nice but not the highest quality. That being said, it very functional.

This was a decent media stand, but it did not last more than 5 years before it was recycled. It was used in the kid's game room for their gaming systems, and I liked the drawer storage to keep the games (vs. open shelving) but it wasn't the easiest assembly. For the price and how long it held up, it did what we needed it to do. The assembly issues are why I'm not giving it 5 stars.

We have had this for quite a few years. It is a simple and sleek design. Our kids have been fairly rough on it and it still looks good. The drawers are a bit worn and do occasionally not line up when shut.
